What's happening in the game

Dear George:

I want you to know that for the most part I think you’re doing a great job. I know it’s hard, and you’re trying your best.

However, I just can not understand why we are messing with Israel, by helping the Arab terrorists. Why are you for taking land from the GOOD GUYS and giving it to the “bad guys”?

This is so against the very war we are fighting. Israel deserves better, it needs our help to keep what they have and to gain more.

I think you need to sit back in the stands for a few days, it’s so much easier to see what’s happening in the game when you’re in the stands than when you’re on the court playing. Know what I mean?

Of course, I don’t know a lot about politics, so forgive me if I offend.

Sincerly,

Give it a try

Dear George:

Forgive me but I feel like I am preaching to the choir. Here goes anyway:

Mr. President. Enough is enough! You and Mr. Cheney have to stop thinking about yourself and your “political agenda” and start thinking about your country. You remember, don’t you? That little place called the United States of America. For the people, by the people etc... What happened? You have let personal and corporate greed get the best of you and now we are in a tailspin. I realize running a country is not the easiest thing to take care of 300 million souls but it makes it harder when you cater to the, forgive me if this sounds trite, “THE ELITE” or as you put it Mr. President “your base”. You can really turn this country around if you stop all this nonsense with war and corporate corruption. Get politics out of government!

Funny how easy it is to be corrupt and how hard it is to be honest and forthright with the American people. Give it a try will you?

Thank you,

Jon
