If you are a Christian

Dear President Bush:

I was wondering if you are a Christian why is it that you are doing nothing to help get Christianity back into our school systems. You are doing nothing to get Christianity back into our justice system. I know if I were in your position I as a Christian would do everything in my power to get Christianity back in to our school and justice systems. Also I think that you should be fighting to keep under God into the Pledge of Allegiance. I am tired of sitting around here and having Christianity pulled out of everything. I supported you in the election because I thought you would be the better person to run this country. But I think to keep this country from falling apart we need Christianity to stay to.

Thank you for you time

A good Christian man

Dear George:

I believe that you feel that you are a good Christian man, who has principles behind your policies. I can only say that it rarely seems to show. When I think of the thousands and thousands of Iraqi citizens, women and children who have died directly or indirectly from United States military troops in their country, I really must ask you to ask yourself and your God who sees these deaths as moral? What does our Judeo-Christian heritage teach? “Thou shalt not kill.” What did Jesus Christ teach? “Love your enemy.” “Do good to those who persecute you”. “Do unto others what you would have other's do unto you.” Mostly countries that claim to be Christian (or mostly so) have failed miserably in being so. But you publicly state over and over that you are a Christian of deep faith. So start running the country that way.
