My son is currently serving

Dear President Bush:

Just a short letter to say thank you! My son is currently serving in Al Asad, Iraq with his Marine Squadron. He loves serving his country and considers it such a privilege to do so. The media seems to only want to put on the air the people who do not support this war against terrorism and I am so tired of it. My voice and my families are small, however, we do have a voice and we say thank you for the job you are doing. I can not fathom the pressure you are under with everything you must make decisions about and you are in our prayers daily, as well as your family.

God Bless you President Bush and continue to do what is right for our country.

Did you ever study economics?

Dear George:

Did you ever study economics while getting your MBA? My daughter is an MBA but cannot find a job after being laid off in April. She is also suffering from complications from an ectopic pregnancy. Her husband was laid off last week, because his sales job was outsourced. They now have no health insurance, and she may need surgery in the coming months.

We live in a country where we cannot afford healthcare, workers have no rights, our air is polluted, as is our government. It think it is time you came out of your bubble, opened your eyes, and realized that ‘underprivileged’ includes anyone in the lower 80% of your economic population.
