Why won't you pray?

Dear George:

Why won't you pray with the folks at your Ask The Candidate sessions? You put them off or joke about this request from those nice, Christian people. I don't think there is anything wrong with professing your faith in public...if you have any.

I sometimes get the feeling that you think you believe in God, but don't really trust him. You say that God speaks through you, but you remain silent when it comes to witnessing your faith among others. If you say it, you are committed. Is that the problem?

I suppose you must realize that God doesn't exclude anyone from His table, but you have done so over and over again in your public life. Even suggesting that another human being should be persecuted and denied his/her place among God's children is blasphemy.

So what is it? Are you with God or against him? We are all waiting to see. Your actions speak louder than words, George.

Sincerely,

Sandra
