Close our borders

Dear George:

I support you on most issues, and vehemently disagree on others. The NEA, PBS and NPR should not receive one dime of public money, but you increased their amount on the dole.

The immigration issue is not going to go away, and your limpid proposal, which amounts to amnesty, will not work and certainly will not please the citizenry. Close our borders and deport every single illegal immigrant. We protect the borders of foreign nations but leave our own virtually unprotected.

I mentioned public money above. The media and the bureaucrats call it federal dollars or government money. The Federal government has no money - the money belongs to the citizens, and we're not happy with the way it's being spent.

I could go on but these are at the top of the list of what bothers me most. My only recourse seems to be to stay home on election day.
