Square things up

Dear Pope-Father George:

I whole-heartedly support the executive order you placed in your State of the Union address, to “open billions of dollars in government funds for competition to” [further blur the line that separates church and state by extending those funds to] “charities of faith”. Furthermore, I also support your cause to “never let them be discriminated again by” [a government that finally and gladly engenders politics into our churches with these tactics, probably birthing America's first version of the Vatican].

The existing discrimination against these establishments is an atrocity. Immediately, in fact beginning 2004, let us submit that these churches file their income taxes.

That should square things up, don't you agree?

And, while we are at it...in the same speech, you mention “preserving the sanctity of” [your definition of] “marriage”. Again, I agree. I just believe Webster needs to redefine the word “sanctity”. Maybe they could team up with J-Lo, to help out with that. She might be a good candidate because I hear she’s between sanctities at the moment.

Regards,

Joseph
